SA: More firefighters sent to SA bushfire
A group of 27 firefighters have flown to Port Lincoln, on Eyre Peninsula, tonight to
relieve crews battling a bushfire that's razed more than 11,000 hectares of mallee scrub.
Around 100 firefighters and 12 Country Fire Service appliances this morning contained
the blaze that broke out on Thursday.
Earlier today South Australian Governor Sir ERIC NEAL flew to the area to personally
thank the volunteer firefighters along with CFS chief executive STUART ELLIS.
